Phones
Numeralla now has mobile phone service for Telstra and the carriers that piggy-back of its services like Aldi Mobile. A short drive up the hill towards Peak View can obtain coverage for other networks. There is a Telstra Pay Phone box in the middle of the village that works with coins.
Note that no service other than ‘000’ is available via Optus or Vodaphone or their resellers.
Dogs
The Badja Reserve Camp Ground (or Numeralla Camp Ground) does not allow pets.
Sadly, we can no longer accomodate dogs at the festival either due to insurance restrictions.
Obviously, service animals with the appropriate paperwork are exempt.
Performing
Numeralla is a traditional folk festival, where people come together to collaborate, encourage and respect each other’s musical talent. Numeralla is your stage, so pick a spot and play.
But also more specifically if you want to perform on stage, put your name down for the BlackBoard concert on the Saturday afternoon of the festival (but get in quick, ((I mean really quick!)) the blackboard is usually located at the Hall near the BBQ entrance.
Supplies and Refreshments
There are no shops in the village but you can eat heartily, from breakfast to supper, at the hall. The kitchen is open from nine-ish in the morning until stumps, serving snacks, hot & cold beverages, delicious home-cooked meals and goodies (check the program for opening hours). The BBQ serves a late breakfast & lunch, and drinks will be available. Everything is very reasonably priced.
Should you need to stock up there are shops in Cooma including four supermarkets which is roughly 22kms away

Objective:
Ensure the safety of community volunteers and patrons, and maintain a harmonious atmosphere at the Numeralla Folk Festival.
Policy:
Anti-social, dangerous, disrespectful, drunken, aggressive or violent behaviour at the Numeralla Folk Festival is unacceptable and will not be tolerated by the organisers, Liquor Licensee, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accredited volunteers or the Authorities.
Responsibilities:
Everyone is responsible for their own behaviour at the Numeralla Folk Festival, however additional specific responsibilities are vested by Law with the Liquor Licensee appointed under the NSW Government Licensing Service, and those serving alcohol who hold an RSA accreditation, whereby they are responsible for others’ behaviour.
Concerning ANY individuals, the Liquor Licensee and RSA accredited volunteers, have the right vested by Law to refuse them service of alcohol, require them to leave, or refuse them entry to the licenced premises. This can be in response to unacceptable behaviour displayed at the time, or previous behaviour such that there are concerns generated by their presence, or for ANY other reason.
Consistent with the Law, should patrons not comply with a direction to leave the licensed premises, the Police will be contacted. The Police will then be obliged to act in support of the Liquor Licensee, and any RSA accredited volunteers.
When acting within their responsibilities with respect to withholding service of alcohol and the presence of individuals on the licensed premises, decisions made by the Liquor Licensee and any RSA accredited volunteers, are final and non-negotiable.
